The officials of South Central Railway have announced that they will be coming with 36 coaches of MMTS that are equipped with state-of-art GPS information system. These coaches will help in providing information such as exact location of the train and the exact time of arrival at that particular station. This information will be made available in both audio and video form to the stranded passengers in the stations. The Hyderabad MMTS officials had conducted talks with ICF and came up with this new EMU design.
