Many schools in the city in the city have decided to conduct classes for the next academic year soon after the final exams of the current year. This decision is taken by various schools management considering the present ongoing Telangana agitation in the city. Already loosing many working days in the current academic year due to the agitation, schools were seen taking proactive measures in order to avoid the loss in the next year too. The classes will commence from mid-March and extend up to April end, after which the summer vacation begins continuing till 2nd week of June.
This trend is already in practice in Intermediate colleges. Though it is against the norms parents were found supporting the conduction of classes in order to protect their children from losing the academic year.
