27 April 2011: The students attending the 2011 EAMCET medical entrance test conducted by JNTU, will be asked to give thumb impressions and photos, which are captured by biometric reading devices. This will help to prevent students resorting to malpractices. The students will also be thoroughly checked before entering and leaving the exam hall, to prevent them from using mobile phones.
