Cameras to Track RTC Drivers Violating Rules

12 April 2011: Due the increased complaints from passengers on RTC drivers for not stopping in bus stops, the APSRTC officials have taken steps to catch hold of these drivers through cameras. These cameras have been supplied in the greater Hyderabad limits, which are used to capture the drivers who violate rules, such as, not stopping at bus stops, improper display of destination boards, use of cell phone while driving and rash driving. These images when sent to respective depot managers will ensure that right action is taken against them. In addition to them encroachments in bus bays and bus stops by hawkers and autos will also be photographed.
