13 May 2011: To the already existing 150 heritage buildings and 20 odd rock formations in the city, HMDA is planning to include 16 more buildings to the city’s heritage list. The buildings which are to be notified by HMDA are Maniar Patt Masjid in Kutbiguda, a gate portion in Monda Market, an office of the Nizam’s government in Musheerabad, Ammapally Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple in Shamshabad, Islamaih High School situated opposite Monda market in Secunderabad, Sudhir Naik’s residence in Gowliguda, Aziz bagh in Noor Khan Baazaar, Moosi maternity and general hospital in New Malakpet, Shamshabad Police station, Daira kaman in Zamistanpur, St. Sebastian Church in Secunderabad, Madigonda Shankaraiah Mutt in Kavadiguda, Mahalaka Chandra step well in OU campus, Vivekavardhini School, Jambagh, State Bank of India opposite ENT hospital in Koti and Rahat Manzil in Saidabad.
