21 Jul 11: All the state departments which offer citizen centric services are directed to come under the shared Information Technology (IT) infrastructure – State Data Center and State Wide Area Network, so that the citizens can get these services without any delays and also for effective governance.
The Information Technology and Communication Department is directed to issue the digitally signed certificates and deliver them at the doorsteps of the citizens so that the citizens do not have to wait in long queues in government offices.
The IT department is also instructed to create an Aadhar enabled State Data Resident Hub in the State Data Center so that roll outs can be easily facilitated. Apart from these the government is also planning to introduce ‘Smart Seva cards’ in the above said three pilot districts which will help in effective implementation of all the citizen welfare programs launched by government.
