GHMC has directed the government hospitals as well as around 800 private nursing homes and hospitals in the city to send the data of the births and deaths registered in their hospitals to the GHMC website directly. As GHMC is going to have a section on births and deaths registration in its website, hospitals are requested to send the related data online so that the whole data can be computerized and is stored in one portal.
To make it easy for the hospitals to transmit these details online, GHMC has issued an exclusive user ID and password for the nursing homes and the hospitals. Some of the government maternity hospitals have already started sending the data, while some of the major hospitals like Gandhi hospital, Osmania general hospital and Niloufer hospital have sought some more time.
