Companies in Hyderabad would have a competitive edge over those in other cities in India. Google has started operating its “business photos” for the city.
As per sources, Hyderabad is the first Indian city to get the facility and other cities would be offered over short time. Google is running trial of business photos facility in 30 cities in the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, France, Canada, The Netherlands, Ireland and Japan.
Reportedly, by uploading the 360 degree view pictures of the premises on Google Places, business establishments will be able to showcase what’s on the offer to the prospective customers checking out Google Places.
Henceforth, browsers of Google at Google Places will have glimpse of the interiors of the businesses. Google is currently working with restaurants, cafes, hotels, spas, salons, gyms and retail stores on this project.
The photos will depict the prospective customers the interiors, décor, merchandises and all of this will be done free. “The panoramic photos will appear alongside other still photos on a business place Page and can help potential customers get a better sense of what an establishment has to offer if they’d like to visit it in person”, according to an official.
