Good news for Hyderabadis who are planning to apply for UK visa. With the United Kingdom opening its consulate in Hyderabad, getting UK visa is now pretty much easy.
Britain has opened its deputy High Commission office in Hyderabad. This is the third consulate in the city followed by Iran consulate, the first in the city and US consulate, which was opened in 2008.
Before getting a permanent address for the office, the consulate is expected to work in a city hotel and will be headed by a deputy high commissioner.
With this the UK visa process, which used to take more than a week to ten days earlier may take less time. By launching this consulate, UK became the only country to have consulates in all southern states except in Kerala.
