The honorable speaker of assembly has officially launched a new website for the state assembly. The link for the AP Legislature’s website is www.aplegislature.org. With the help of this website anyone from the public across the state can bring their grievances to the notice of the legislative members. The grievances would also be acknowledged, said the speaker during the launch.
At present the website has 3,11,000 pages devoted to the debates that took place in the legislature body since 1952, and they will be accessible for the first time to the 385 members of the legislature — both the Assembly and the Council.
The general public can view the assets and liabilities of the member, on the site, which were till now confined to the sealed covers. He also mentioned that the website would be more informative than the Parliament website and he also told that members can post their question in the website.
