The state government has hiked the minimum auto fare from Rs.14 to Rs.16 and on every additional km travelled it is Rs.8 to Rs.9 and the waiting charges for every minute is 25 paise.

And if travelled between 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the charges are one-and-half times more than the normal auto fare. The prices of auto fares have revised because the state government has hiked prices in petrol and LPG. The auto fares were last revised in the year 2010.

Auto drivers with immediate affect were asked to change their existing digital fare meters with the revised fares and until then they were instructed to use an approved tariff card that displays the existing and revised fares.
