It’s really sad to know that the state universities could not come up with any innovative ideas for an all-round growth of students. The issue was discovered recently by the University Grants Commission (UGC), when it invited various universities across the country for a proposal relating to novel ideas earlier this year.

The proposal was invited under a scheme called “Innovation University”. Only four universities from the state could live up to the UGC standards, the rest failed. The four universities that have been selected by the UGC under the scheme ‘Innovation University’ are: Osmania University, Andhra University, Kakatiya University, and University of Hyderabad.
