Lower Cut-Off for Admissions to IITs

BIE, AP has decided to revise qualifying marks downward for aspiring candidates so that they can come in the top-20 percentile list for getting eligible for admission to the IITs.

Under the revised norms, the qualifying marks for students in general category in the second year exams are 437 out of a maximum of 530. Likewise, the qualifying marks for SCs, STs, BCs and PCHs are 387, 396, 428 and 292 respectively.
