The Congress Working Committee (CWC) is going to make its decision on the ongoing Telangana issue to make Telangana as a separate state today.
According to the sources, the CWC is scheduled to meet at 5.30 pm to decide on the division of Andhra Pradesh and will also consult with UPA allies on this issue.
There will also be discussion whether Hyderabad will be the capital of Telangana or to be a joint capital or will it be union territory.
If Telangana is declared, it will be the 29th state of India. Currently, Andhra Pradesh has 23 districts out of which 10 will go to Telangana and the remaining 13 will go to Seemandhra.
