APSRTC Services in Coastal and Rayalaseema regions of the state have been affected because of agitation for Samaikyandhra. Therefore, APSRTC has decided to operate buses on Hyderabad – Bangalore route via Bellary, Raichur and Tumkur to bypass Rayalaseema from 5 August night.
The usual route is via Kurnool and Anantapur. The diversion results in an additional distance of 140 km from Hyderabad.
