The 16th Lok Sabha poll dates have been announced by election commission, the polls will begin from April 7 and end on May 12, 2014.
Polling in Andhra Pradesh will be held in two phases on 30 April and 7 May. In the first phase, the Telangana region will vote on 30 April, which will cover 17 Lok Sabha seats and 119 Assembly seats and in the second phase Seemandhra region will vote on May 7 which will cover 25 Lok Sabha seats and 175 Assembly seats.
An estimated 6.24 crore voters are eligible to vote in the coming elections in Andhra Pradesh. The counting of votes will take place on 16 May and is expected to be completed in a day.
