Civilians can drive their vehicles on AOC roads on day time from March 10 as there will be no restrictions on the civilians’ vehicles. The proposed restrictions have been cancelled. The night restrictions also changed slightly. Earlier timing was from 10:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., now it is from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The civilians can also use ABC track near the Safilguda railway gate. The Army is planning to convert this place into a park and civilians are not going to be prevented from using it.
The Army authorities are going to cancel the restrictions imposed in areas near Yapral and Ammuguda. The Army would take steps to lift the ban on use of Army roads by civilians unless alternative roads and flyovers are developed wherever needed. This is because taking measures for secrecy and safety of the defence establishments in the area is important.
