For management quota seats in leading engineering colleges, students have to go in competition with other state JEE (Main) rankers.
The JEE rankers are to be given the first preference; and the leftover seats are to be allotted to Eamcet and Inter students.
The proportion to be allotted under management quota system is 30%. Under the revised rules, 5% has to be given to NRIs’ children. The remaining, that is 25%, is to be given to JEE (Main) rankers regardless of the state they come from. If there are seats still left vacant, they will be allotted to Eamcet rankers and later to candidates with highest scores in intermediate.
JEE (Main) rankers are to benefit more in getting admission in good colleges compared to others.
