GHMC is to Maintain PVNR Expressway

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), being critical of the poor maintenance of the 11.5km long PVNR expressway, assigned its maintenance to GHMC.

As per a recent report by NIT, Warangal, the expressway is maintained poorly. It pointed out that dirt accumulated along the ridges of the carriageway.

GHMC has agreed to do the job. According to sources at HMDA, cleaning would be done by employing machines once in five days.
