Hyderabad students did very well going by the results declared by the CBSE. Girls fared better than boys. The overall performance of the State is estimated at 87.53.
Of the 35 Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) in Hyderabad, 17 schools got the distinction of securing cent per cent results and the overall percentage for KVs in the city is 97.5. This is an improvement of more than 2.5 per cent over last year.
The pass percentage for girls is 90.49 and 85.68 for boys. In absolute terms 2,169 girls out of 2,397 and 3,291 boys of out of 3,841 passed the examination.
