Government Schools Soon to Have an International Makeover

Hyderabad District Authority is planning to raise the standards of excellently performing government schools by introducing international infrastructure and teaching methodologies, with charging only nominal fees. The authority is planning to enable digital learning by internet connectivity, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), employing full time computer faculty, Digital boards, LCD projectors, etc. The student to teacher ratio is supposed to be 1:25. Extra curricular activities are also to be given equal importance as of academics. The government had already sanctioned Rs.2 to Rs.4 lakh for each selected school.

The selected government schools are Gannu Police Boys High School, Amberpet (CPL) government High School, and other high schools at Hyderguda, Vengalrao nagar, Banjara Hills, Kachiguda, Gandhi Bhavan, Malakpet,Ameerpet, Vijayanagar Colony, Kalikaman, City Model, West Marredpally, Langer Houze, Humayun Nagar, Borabanda, Musheerabad, Nallakunta, Film Nagar, Seethaphalmandi and Yousufguda.
