Poll: Is the current level of air pollution in Hyderabad city, significantly affecting your health and quality of living?

Pollution is one of the major problems that the people of Hyderabad are facing today.

Hyderabad India Online recently conducted a poll to know the opinion of Hyderabad’s citizens on the current levels of air pollution in Hyderabad city. Asked whether the current level of air pollution in Hyderabad city is significantly affecting their health and quality of living compared to the air quality about 10 or even 5 years back, 94% of the poll respondents have said that it is affecting them. Out of this, 74% said that it is severely affecting them.

An additional 4% responded that it is slightly affecting them. This adds up to 98% of respondents agreeing that the increased pollution level is impacting their health as well as quality of life. As much as, only 1% of them voted saying that it is not at all affecting them. The left out 1% have voted for “Not Sure”

As per this poll, one thing is for sure – the pollution levels have increased significantly and is impacting the health and quality of living of people of Hyderabad. This is a major issue for Hyderabadis.
