The counseling for engineering students was scheduled to begin from 30th August 2012, but got delayed due to disorder over the fee structure. The Eamcet officials have revised the schedule of counseling from 31st August.
Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy will give a clarity on the issue in engineering colleges over fee reimbursement and fee structure on 30th August.
According to the camp officer, Eamcet admissions, students can view their counseling list with fee details on the website from 31st August and can choose their options based on their favorable courses and colleges.
Students will be allowed to change their options on September 10 for rank holders from 1 to 1,00,000 and on September 11 for rank holders from 1,00,001 to last rank.
Out of 60,000 engineering students, there were only 41,880 students, who turned out for certificate verification and 18,120 students did not come till the fourth day of counseling.
The allotted seat list will be posted on the website http://apeamcet.nic. on 14th September after 6 pm. The fee structure will be uniform for 604 colleges of Rs 35,000 and a different fee structure in the other 85 colleges, ranging from Rs 52,000 to Rs 1,05,000.
Eamcet rank holders from rank 1 to 40,000 will be allowed to choose their options on the net on August 31 and September 1. Rank holders from 40,001 to 75,000 can choose their options on September 2 and 3; rank holders from 75,001 to 1,05,000 can choose their options on September 4 and 5; rank holders from 1,05,001 to 1,55,000 can choose their options on September 6 and 7 and rank holders from 1,55,001 to the last rank can choose their options on September 8 and 9 respectively.
