Hyderabad Ranked Fifth in Contribution to GDP

Hyderabad has been reported to be the fifth largest city of India in terms of demographic and contribution to GDP estimated at $74 billion, relegating Chennai beneath. The city has been performing well in fields like information technology (IT), pharmacy, and biotechnology.

The city regained the place after Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Bangalore.

There are close to 13 universities.

Visakhapatnam has been ranked 10th with contribution of %26 billion to GDP.
