With the mad rush of denizens to get their Aadhaar cards registered, the authorities have introduced a ‘phone-in’ facility to ease the problem. People who haven’t got their Aadhaar cards, can now call the toll free number 1100 and book a slot for registration.
First priority will be given to LPG connection holders, as March 15 is the last date to avail LPG subsidy through Aadhaar. To book Aadhaar registration, one can also go to the official website www.meeseva.gov.in and register a slot.
While booking a registration slot through phone, citizens should give details of their LPG consumer number and mobile number. Very shortly they will receive a SMS on confirmation of Aadhaar registration and the date and time they should be available at the Aadhaar centre with the necessary documents.
People who are calling through the landlines should not down the details given by the operators. Get yourself registered with Aadhaar card with the newly introduced facility.
