Prohibitory Orders in Twin Cities

To maintain public peace and order in twin cities – Hyderabad and Secunderabad, the police are enforcing prohibitory orders. These orders will effect from 6 a.m., 21 November, 2013 to 6 a.m., 27 November, 2013. They include the following:

  • Public meetings or processions in the city are not allowed without prior permission from zonal deputy commissioners of police, additional commissioner of police, joint commissioner of police, co-ordination and security or commissioner of police.
  • Carrying things such as swords, spears, knives, sticks with or without flags, bludgeons, guns, explosives are prohibited. And also prohibited on gathering of persons on roads, public places which disturbs public peace.
